We will walk you through the features and setup of our file management interface, also known as File Manager or File Browser. With File Manager, you can efficiently manage files within a specified directory, including tasks like uploading, deleting, previewing, renaming, and editing your files. You can also create multiple users, each with its own directory. This interface can be used as a standalone application or as middleware for your applications.

  • Rename: Rename files for better organization.

  • Edit: Edit files as needed within the interface.

2. User Management

Access your 01Cloud environment and navigate to the Settings tab.

Step 2: Access the Storage Tab

Within the Settings tab, click on the Storage section.

Step 3: Enable File Manager

Locate the File Manager section in the Storage tab. Click the ENABLE button to initiate the File Manager installation procedure.

Step 4: Monitor Installation Progress

After clicking ENABLE, the File Manager installation process will commence. You can monitor the status of the installation procedure. Wait for the status to indicate Running.

Step 5: Access File Manager Interface

Once the installation is complete and the status is Running, you can access the File Manager interface. Open your web browser and enter the access URL provided for the File Manager.

Step 6: Logging In

The first page you will encounter is the login page. To access the File Manager, use the default credentials provided. These credentials are typically found in a note box or accompanying documentation.

Step 7: Change Default Credentials

For security reasons, we strongly recommend changing the default credentials after successfully logging into the File Manager interface.

Accessing Storage Data:

  • In the File Manager interface, you will be able to view, modify, and delete the data from the Persistent Volume Claims (PVCs) that are mounted. Each storage name will correspond to a separate folder within the interface.

  • With the 01Cloud File Manager, you have a powerful and user-friendly tool for managing your files and data effectively. Whether you’re using it as a standalone application or integrating it into your projects as middleware, our File Manager simplifies your file management tasks while maintaining data security.

Note: When RWX (ReadWriteMany) access is enabled for a storage, File Manager will only show RWX storage. However, in the case of default/RWO (ReadWriteOnce) access mode, all storage and PVC data will be displayed.
